Flexibility of phenotyping hard- and software
When you acquire a phenotyping system, you usually select it for the species you want to work with. However, our phenotyping systems are flexible – at hardware and software level. They can cope with various sample types. Thus, a given system is not just “for Arabidopsis” or “for bean plants”.
In the current example, a system that was primarily acquired to assess bean plants turned out to be useful for phenotyping of moss plants, too.
