Phenotypic screen of cherry gene pools
Phenotyping in fruit tree breeding helps to select candidate genotypes for future variety developments. An important step in breeding is the screening of gene pools for phenotypic diversity. In this paper, the authors describe how they applied LemnaTec imaging and image processing to screen leaf phenotype diversity of cherry trees and related these to molecular data of the genotypes.
