PhenoAIxpert HT Opening at Texas Tech University

LemnaTec is proud to have delivered a new PhenoAIxpert HT to the Texas Tech University.

The PhenoAIxpert HT is a plant-to-sensor phenotyping system consisting of imaging cabinets which a fed by a conveyor system. Potted plants standing on carriers are transported by the conveyor into the cabinets where images with different camera types are taken.

🌱The system at Texas Tech is equipped with:
📷Visible light imaging
📷Multispectral imaging
📷Hyperspectral imaging
📷Thermal infrared imaging
📷Chlorophyll fluorescence imaging, including conditioning tunnel
⚖️💧Weighing and watering system
🪴980 carriers for plants on the conveyor system

Application possibilities are numerous, ranging from genotype-phenotype studies over population screens and treatment studies to assessments of plant-environment interactions.

With the delivery of this large-scale plant phenotyping system we provide tools that enable important progress in crop research.

Our managing director Dr. Robert Tietz has attended the opening ceremony on June 5th, 2025. We at LemnaTec wish best success in research with the PhenoAIxpert HT to the Texas Tech team!
