PhenoAIxpert Pro Root Multiview – The 2 in 1 Phenotyping System for Pots and Rhizotrons

PhenoAIxpert Pro Root Multiview is a 2 in 1 phenotyping system that can switch between pots and rhizotrons

🟢 The PhenoAIxpert Pro Root Multiview combines rhizotron imaging and pot muliview imaging in one cabinet. Thus it combines the functions of a PhenoAIxpert Pro Root, designed for rhizotrons, with those of a PhenoAIxpert Pro which is designed for pots.

🟢 It has a rhizotron holder with foldable light bars, which can be lowered. Therafter, a flap can be folded down, on which a turning unit for pots is mounted. With those foldable units, one cabinet provides the functionality for pots and for rhizotrons.

📷 For imaging, it has a horizontal camera, viewing at the shoot from the side, and a ceiling-mounted camera, viewing at the shoot from top. These two cameras operate for both, pots and rhizotrons. In the rhizotron configuration, a third camera in the bottom part of the cabinet views at the rhizotron plate and images the root system.

↪️ In the pot configuration, the turning unit enables multiview imaging with the horizontal camera. Turning the pot by a series of steps, all sides of the shoot can be imaged, e.g. for determination of digital biomass, or for 3D assessments.
