LemnaTec at the Seed Symposium 2025

The Seed Symposium 2025 will take place in March 2025 at the Leibnitz Institute in Gatersleben, Germany. 

The Meeting is jointly organised by “Gesellschaft für Pflanzenzüchtung“ (GPZ), “Gesellschaft für Pflanzenbauwissenschaften“ (GPW) and “Fachgruppe Saatgut“ im Verband Deutscher Landwirtschaftlicher Untersuchungs- und Forschungsanstalten (VDLUFA).

LemnaTec offers phenotyping technologies dedicated to seeds and seedlings. Our SeedAIxpert systems are designed to image paper-based germination assays, seeds, seedlings in petri dishes, or similar samples.

The AI-based image processing software delivered together with the imaging systems delivers data such as germination rate, seedling dimensions and growth, or seed count. Germinated seedlings can be measured for root and shoot lenght. Machine learning tools enable the users to define criteria for seedling quality, seed properties, or to detect damaged seeds, foreing seeds, or debris in seed batches.
